The Chargers are projected as slim road favorites in the Wild Card Round. Los Angeles is an early -132 moneyline favorite and favored by 2.5 points on the spread.

Chargers vs Jaguars Prediction Wild Card 

The 4 vs. 5 matchup should be an exciting meeting between two electric offenses. Justin Herbert finally has his full complement of weapons back with Keenan Allen and Mike Williams healthy, joining star running back Austin Ekeler to form a scary core. Trevor Lawrence, meanwhile, has taken a leap in the second half of the season, leading the Jags to an AFC South title while more than doubling his passing TD total from his rookie campaign.

Which defense can survive this test may end up being the difference. The Chargers are simply equipped better on that side of the ball with Joey Bosa finally healthy again, giving this unit a game-changing player that Jacksonville lacks. The Jagas have also struggled to contain anyone this season, giving up the ninth-most yards per game and ranking sixth-worst in Football Outsiders' defensive DVOA metric.

I think LA ultimately comes out on top in what should be a shootout. Bet Chargers -2.5 (-110).
