After some early struggles, it's looking like Notre Dame has found its mojo. While the sample size is small, the Fighting Irish have an opportunity to continue their newfound success against a BYU team that they've beaten in each of the last three head-to-head meetings.

Having said that, Notre Dame still has a lot to prove. The Tar Heels have one of the worst defenses in the nation, giving up over 450 total yards per game. BYU's defensive unit is better than that and can take more punishment without breaking. Still, I do like the Fighting Irish a bit more if last week's offense performance was a sign of things to come.

At the end of the day, this should be a back-and-forth battle. Notre Dame is 8-0 in its last eight games against fellow independent schools, though, which is another reason to like the Fighting Irish.
