Venue: Bank of America Stadium — Charlotte, NC
Coverage: FOX
Week 7 of the 2022 NFL season includes an NFC South showdown between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers. Pegged as Super Bowl contenders in the preseason, the Bucs could desperately use a win after losing three of their last four outings — including last week's 20-18 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Panthers are another team that hasn't been able to buy a win lately. They lost 24-10 to the Los Angeles Rams last week, marking their third straight defeat and the fourth in their last five games. Needless to say, Carolina fans are desperate to have something to cheer about, especially with Christian McCaffrey now in San Francisco.

Buccaneers vs Panthers Prediction & Pick
Tom Brady wasn't happy at all with how the Buccaneers played last week. Fortunately, the upcoming matchup against the Panthers offers the perfect opportunity for the Bucs to get their groove back.
Brady is a perfect 4-0 against the Panthers since moving to Tampa. The Buccaneers have won each game by an average final score of 37.5 to 15.8, highlighting just how much they have their NFC South rival's number.
It also doesn't help that Carolina's QB room is looking more like an emergency room. Both Sam Darnold and Matt Corral are still on the injured reserve, Baker Mayfield missed last week with an ankle sprain and P.J. Walker is now dealing with a neck injury. Regardless of who the Panthers wind up going with, it'll likely either be a banged-up option or someone from the practice squad.
At the end of the day, the conditions are perfect for the Bucs to win this one in one-sided fashion.
Final Score Prediction: Buccaneers: 28 | Panthers: 14

The Bucs tend to perform well against the spread when the Panthers are involved, going 5-1 ATS in their last six trips to Charlotte. In fact, Tampa Bay has won its last two road games against Carolina by at least 23 points, giving me enough confidence to back the Buccaneers to win by at least 2 touchdowns.
