Death, taxes and Tom Brady owning the Panthers are the three guarantees in life. The legendary gunslinger has gone 4-0 against Carolina since joining the Bucs, completing 98-of-141 passes over that stretch for 1,116 passing yards and eight touchdowns with just one interception.

What's even more impressive is that the Buccaneers outscored the Panthers 150 to 63 over that stretch. Now that Carolina no longer has star running back Christian McCaffrey in the fold, the Brady-led Bucs should continue their trend of domination.

While the Buccaneers have struggled to find consistency this season, the Panthers have been much worse. Carolina has been held to 16 or fewer points in four of its last five games and also owns the eighth-worst scoring defense at home in 2022.

The Buccaneers need a confidence boost and the Panthers are the perfect opponent to get the job done. With Carolina tanking, I'm comfortable taking Tampa Bay as the 13.5-point spread favorite as the best bet this weekend.
