Big Game Stanford vs Cal Prediction and Odds 2022
Despite Stanford winning six straight Big Game matchups at Berkeley, California is the slightly better team this season. The Golden Bears score about two more points while allowing five fewer than the Cardinal, who happen to be winless in five road games this season.
Opponents have also averaged 44.0 points over Stanford's last three games, showing just how much the Cardinal have been struggling lately. Furthermore, they haven't even scored more than 16 points in a game since Week 6.
Even with the Golden Bears being far from perfect, California has actually been able to score the ball lately and should be good enough to win the 2022 Big Game.

Big Game History
Stanford and Cal have faced off 101 times since their first meeting in 1918. This has been a fairly close rivalry, though, with the Cardinal notching 53 wins to California's 42. There have also been six ties in the series.
After losing 10 of 11 previous meetings, California got its revenge in last year's matchup with a 41-11 blowout win against Stanford. A big part of that victory was the Golden Bears outscoring the Cardinal 27-8 in the second half.
