Best Same-Game Parlay for Panthers vs Golden Knights NHL Stanley Cup Final Game 2 (Back Florida's Aggressiveness)

Updated:

The 2022-23 NHL Playoffs continue on Monday night with Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Florida Panthers and Vegas Golden Knights at 8 p.m. ET on TNT. There are a ton of ways to get in on the betting action, including making your own same-game parlay on FanDuel Sportsbook.

A same-game parlay is exactly what it sounds like. It involves stringing bets from one game together to create a parlay. Of course, all legs must cash for the parlay to be deemed a winning ticket. With that in mind, here's a look at my best same-game parlay for the Panthers-Golden Knights matchup.

Leg 1: Matthew Tkachuk Anytime Goal Scorer (+160)

The Panthers' backs are against the wall on Monday night as they cannot afford to go down 0-2 in a series against a team full of veteran pros. Someone is going to have to step up and Matthe Tkachuk has been that someone throughout the postseason for Florida. He leads the team with 9 goals across 17 contests and enters Game 2 with a chip on his shoulder following his Game 1 ejection. The 25-year-old has found the back of the net in three of his last five games and is never afraid to take over on the power play. That's the kind of aggressiveness the Panthers need.

Leg 2: Brandon Montour to Record 3+ Shots on Goal (-188)

As mentioned above, aggressiveness will be the key to the Panther's attack tonight as they look to even up the series. That bodes well for Brandon Montour's chances of being a go-to guy on the offensive end of the ice. After all, he has already put together two different performances with 9 shots on goal and 8 shots on goal in this postseason run. The Florida defenseman has racked up at least 3 shots on goal in eight of his last 11 games, which makes this a great leg to add to a same-game parlay. It's one that could cash fairly early on.

Leg 3: Vegas Golden Knights Over 0.5 First Period Goals (-164)

Florida is likely going to come out of the tunnel firing, but that doesn't mean that Vegas will just sit back and let it happen. The Golden Knights have been a strong team in the first period during their playoff run, scoring at least one goal in the first 20 minutes in 13 of their 18 contests. That includes in Game 1 as Jonathan Marchessault buried a power play goal with just under 3 minutes to go in the first period. Vegas' offense is simply too powerful to keep off the board for an entire period.

Same-Game Parlay Odds: +544
