Best Same-Game Parlay for Golden Knights vs Panthers NHL Stanley Cup Final Game 4 (Mark Stone Leads by Example)

Updated:

The 2022-23 Stanley Cup Final continues on Saturday night with Game 4 between the Vegas Golden Knights and Florida Panthers at 8 p.m. ET. There are a ton of ways to get in on the betting action, including making your own same-game parlay on FanDuel Sportsbook.

A same-game parlay is exactly what it sounds like. It involves stringing bets from one game together to create a parlay. Of course, all legs must cash for the parlay to be deemed a winning ticket. With that in mind, here's a look at my best same-game parlay for the Golden Knights-Panthers matchup.

Leg 1: Mark Stone Any Time Goal Scorer (+220)

Although the Golden Knights failed to win Game 3, captain Mark Stone still had a solid showing, scoring his eighth postseason goal while recording three shots on net. Vegas needs a confidence boost, so I expect Stone to step up again tonight. The good news is that he plays well against the Panthers, scoring four goals in his last seven encounters with him. He also has a trio in his previous three trips to FLA Live Arena, showing that he's more than comfortable playing in the Sunshine State.

Leg 2: Chandler Stephenson to Record 2+ Shots on Goal (-128)

Another bet that I like heading into Game 4 is for Vegas' Chandler Stephenson to record two-plus shots on goal. If anything, only having him available at -122 odds to do so is a complete steal. For starters, Stephenson finished with exactly four shots on goal in each of Games 2 and 3, now making good on this prop thrice in his past four outings. The talented forward only trails Stone when it comes to average ice time amongst Golden Knights forwards, averaging over 20 minutes per outing. Taking the above into account, there's no reason to believe that he can't record multiple SOG.

Leg 3: Panthers to Score First Goal (-120)

If the Panthers want to even the Stanley Cup Final, getting off to a hot start will go a long way. They've had success doing so far in this series even if every game hasn't gone their way, scoring first in two of the first three matchups. Momentum is now on the Panthers' side following a thrilling overtime victory, meaning it's their responsibility to capitalize on Game 3's success. With players like Matthew Tkachuk, Aleksander Barkov, and Carter Verhaeghe in the lineup, there's no excuse for Florida not to up the offensive pressure as soon as the first puck drops. As long as they stick to what worked on Thursday, a strong start for the Panthers isn't out of the question.
