3 Best Prop Bets for Suns vs Nuggets NBA Game on March 31 (Deandre Ayton Dominates the Glass)

Friday's NBA slate of games includes a showdown between the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets. FanDuel Sportsbook's latest odds list the Suns as the 10-point home favorite with the projected total set at 227.

1. Deandre Ayton to Record 10+ Rebounds (+110)

With Nikola Jokic (calf) potentially missing his second game in as many nights, Deandre Ayton has a great opportunity to be productive in the paint. After all, the Suns' big man is averaging 10.7 rebounds over his last 29 games, finishing with a double-digit total on 18 occasions over that stretch. Jokic's absence last night allowed the New Orleans Pelicans' Brandon Ingram and Jonas Valanciunas to finish with 11 and 12 rebounds, respectively, so I have a hard time believing Ayton won't have a similar performance.

2. Chris Paul — Points + Assists: Over 21.5 (-115)

Although he's no longer in his prime, Chris Paul has been putting on a solid performance this month. In his last 11 games, the veteran point guard is averaging 14.5 points and 9.5 assists — more than his projected combo total for the night. Even more impressive is that Paul finished with 22-plus points and assists in eight of those contests. Paul is also averaging 19.4 points and 11.3 assists in 11 games against the Nuggets since joining the Suns. Considering how he dropped a 17-point, 16-assist double-double in his only clash with New Orleans this season, I expect more of the same production from the 12-time NBA All-Star.

3. Josh Okogie — Points: Over 8.5 (-120)

Despite Kevin Durant returning from injury on Wednesday, Josh Okogie remained in the Suns' starting lineup, finishing with 10 points in 32 minutes of action. With Phoenix's lineup unlikely to change, I'm going with the over on this prop. For starters, the Nuggets are dealing with a slew of injuries, opening the floor for Okogie to do some damage — especially if the Suns get off to a big lead and rest stars like Durant and Devin Booker later in the game, resulting in more offensive opportunities for the 24-year-old. On top of that, Okogie is averaging 13.1 points in his last nine home games, finishing with more than 8.5 in six contests.
