Belmont Park Betting Picks

According to numberFire horse racing projections and Guaranteed Tip Sheet, these are some of the best bets to make at FanDuel Racing today. The best value option will not necessarily be the top pick(s).

The June 10th Belmont Stakes winner was Arcangelo, who closed at 8/1 odds and completed a 3-for-3 in the Late Pick 3.

The May 26 picks at Belmont produced two top play winners, but both as favorites. On Sat., May 27 at Belmont, FanDuel Racing top picks went 3-for-3 including a $2 exacta payoff for $89 in Race 9. FanDuel Racing's May 19 picks at Pimlico went 3-for-3 and produced an 11/1 winner on Taxed in the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes that also paid $190 on a $2 exacta bet.

1. La Aguililla and Juliana's Rose, Race 4

Race 4 is a Claiming race for fillies and mares at 1 mile. Guaranteed Tip Sheet makes La Aguililla (3/1) a best bet with Juliana's Rose (4/1) and Chasing Daylight (9/5) projected to finish in the money. The numberFire projections also have the top two picks as main win contenders in that order.

The 7-year-old mare La Aguililla drops out of a tougher Allowance race, but will have to prove she can get the added distance. Juliana's Rose drops into claiming ranks for the first time. She ran a big race last December in the mud but hasn’t been able to get back to that form since. Still, there's not a lot of talent in this field.

2. Khali Magic and Amaretti, Race 8

Race 8 is an Allowance race for fillies and mares at 6 1/2 furlongs. Amaretti (2/1) and Cupid's Heart (9/5) will both be bet hard, but there are some concerns in recent races and with Cupid's Heart coming off a layoff. The value choice here is Khali Magic (6/1), which numberFire notes is a win contender to Cupid's Heart. She has tactical speed, has beaten state-breds, and looks like she'll fit with these.

3. Stow On the Wold and Border Patrol, Race 9

Race 9 is a Maiden Special Weight for state-breds going 1 mile on the turf. Chulligan (9/2) makes his 2023 debut and gets first-time Lasix. The meet's top jockey Irad Ortiz, Jr. rides Stow On the Wold (7/2), who held the lead for 1 mile last month before faltering in the extra 1/8 mile.

Longshot Border Patrol (20/1) makes his debut for trainer Jamie Begg, but he’s been part of the EPO trainer Rob Atras' stable until recently with that trainer serving a suspension. Born Dancer (5/1) is a win contender according to numberFire. He was competitive in a NY-bred stakes race in his second start and is still shooting for his Maiden win.
