The 49ers could pull away in the second half of this game, according to the opening betting lines. ESPN's FPI also seems to think San Francisco gets the job done and I agree.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan's team has one major advantage here and that is on the defensive side of the ball. Players like Fred Warner and Nick Bosa are capable of shutting down a play at any given time. That's bad news for a Falcons offense that is no longer at full strength without Cordarrelle Patterson. Jimmy Garappollo tends to do just enough to secure the win and I see this one ending with the 49ers up by a touchdown. Bet San Francisco -6 (-110).
