49ers New Uniform Concept Design on Reddit Looks Amazing

Seven NFL teams received redesign uniforms this offseason. Some are getting mixed reviews, but for the most part the changes have been good ones.

The San Francisco 49ers weren't one of the lucky teams that got new threads, but that hasn't stopped fans from dreaming. Reddit user detroitlions420 shared a sweet new design concept. You can also find his designs on Instagram @LucsDesign91.

The 49ers have one of the most timeless looks in the NFL, though they do also have a seldom-worn black alternate jersey. The official one is relatively plain, however, with a simple black-and-red look that doesn't really capture the team's aesthetic.

This concept builds on that look, keeping red as the focus, with the numbers and sleeve stripes, but adding just enough gold accent to really make these feel like they belong to the Niners. It would still be best suited as an alternate or maybe color rush jersey, but there's no denying that it's incredibly slick.

This is, of course, not an official mockup, but it's always cool to see the incredibly creative things NFL fans can come up with for uniform designs.
