3 Best Prop Bets for Warriors vs Bucks on Dec. 13 (Giannis Antetokounmpo Controls the Paint)

3 Best Prop Bets for Warriors vs Bucks on Dec. 13 (Giannis Antetokounmpo Controls the Paint)

Updated:

The Golden State Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks are set to clash in a star-studded affair on Tuesday, Dec. 13. Stephen Curry and his Warriors have been terrible on the road this season, whereas Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks have been near-perfect at home, making it interesting to see which side comes out on top.

Here are three of the best prop bets for the Warriors-Bucks game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook's NBA odds.

Warriors vs Bucks Player Props

1. Giannis Antetokounmpo — Rebounds: Over 11.5 (-130)

Giannis Antetokounmpo has, once again, found a way to dominate the pain, averaging double-digit rebounds (11.3) for the sixth straight season. He shouldn't have an issue continuing that trend against the Warriors, who are allowing the eighth-most rebounds this season (53.5). It also helps that Antetokounmpo loves collecting rebounds when he faces Curry and co., recording 12-plus boards in four of his last five games against the Warriors. Unless Golden State completely changes its defensive game plan, there isn't much preventing the 'Greek Freak' from another big rebound performance.

2. Stephen Curry — Threes Made: Over 4.5 (-113)

In a tale as old as time, Stephen Curry continues to be lethal from three-point range. The generational sharpshooter is averaging 5.3 threes on 43.9% shooting over his last 11 games, finishing with more than 4.5 in eight of those contests. Though the Bucks allow the fourth-fewest baskets from downtown (10.9), that number actually slightly increases to 11.7 when they're at home. Milwaukee's top point guard, Jrue Holiday, is also questionable for the bout with a non-COVID illness and if he misses the game (or plays at less than 100%), Curry's chances of hitting the over will only increase.

3. Kevon Looney — Points + Rebounds: Under 14.5 (-128)

For the last prop, I recommend taking the under on Kevon Looney's points + rebounds combo. Even though he's hit the over on this prop in five of his last six games, I'm going with the under. After all, Looney hasn't accomplished the feat against the Bucks since December 2018. He's averaging only 9.5 combined points and rebounds in his last four games against Milwaukee, which has a lot to do with the fact that he sees a lot of Antetokounmpo in the paint. Considering how the Bucks also surrender the 10th-fewest points to centers and eighth-fewest rebounds overall at home, I just don't see Looney having a big night.
