3 Best Prop Bets for Celtics vs Bucks NBA Game on March 30 (Milwaukee Keeps Tatum Contained)

Updated:

Thursday's NBA slate of games includes a showdown between the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks. FanDuel Sportsbook's latest odds list the Bucks as the 2.5-point home favorite with the projected total set at 236.5.

Here's three of the best prop bets for the Celtics-Bucks game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Celtics vs Bucks Player Props

1. Jayson Tatum — Points: Under 28.5 (-115)

Jayson Tatum has been instrumental to the Celtics' success this season, averaging a career-high 30.1 PPG on 46.2% shooting. Although it's a small sample size, Tatum's production has fallen off a bit in recent weeks. The 25-year-old superstar is tallying 27.3 PPG while shooting 44.9% from the floor and 23.3% from three-point range in his last seven games, finishing with the under on this prop in four of those contests. While he's capable of turning things around, it's worth noting that Tatum has only finished with 29-plus points in four of his 17 previous meetings with the Bucks, doing so just once at Fiserv Forum. In other words, the under is the right call.

2. Giannis Antetokounmpo — Assists: Over 5.5 (-128)

Although Giannis Antetokounmpo isn't known for his playmaking, he's had no issues setting his teammates up lately. The seven-time All-Star is averaging 6.8 assists in his last 19 games, finishing with the over on this prop in 11 of those contests. If that wasn't impressive enough, the "Greek Freak" has finished with 10-plus helpers in three of his last five games. Sure, the Celtics' terrific defense only gives up 23.2 assists per game (No. 2), but that hasn't stopped Antetokounmpo from finishing with over 5.5 in six of his previous nine clashes with Boston. In what should be a back-and-forth showdown, expect Antetokounmpo to have plenty opportunities to set up his teammates.

3. Jaylen Brown — Threes Made: Over 2.5 (-111)

Jaylen Brown hasn't been as effective as usual on the perimeter this season, averaging a career-low 34.0% three-point percentage. He's also just 2-of-14 (14.3%) from beyond the arc in his last two games, however, I see him finding his groove against the Bucks. After all, Brown is averaging exactly a trio of three-pointers on 42.7% shooting in his last 10 regular-season outings against Milwaukee. He finished with the over in all but two of those contests, which includes going 5-of-9 in the last meeting back on Christmas Day. He must give it his all if the Celtics are to win, so expect Brown to sink at least three shots from downtown.
