Jaguars at Steelers Week 8 Odds

The Jaguars kickstarted Week 7 with a 31-24 win over the Saints on Thursday Night Football. That marked their fourth consecutive win as they moved to 5-2 to advance their AFC South lead.

While QB Trevor Lawrence has just one 300-plus-yard game this year, he's averaging a respectable 6.9 yards per attempt with 8 touchdowns to just 3 interceptions. He also has added production on the ground with 206 yards on 41 rushes.

The Steelers scored a West Coast win over the Rams in Week 7 while Kenny Pickett averaged north of 9.0 yards per attempt (9.2) despite not throwing for a touchdown. He ran for one, and Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren added one apiece to account for all three touchdowns.

Lawrence remained limited in practice on Friday and is questionable for Week 8.

Eagles at Commanders Week 8 Odds

This is a rematch of a Week 4 slugfest, which the Eagles won 34-31 in overtime off of a 54-yard field goal from Jake Elliott.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts threw 37 times for 319 yards and 2 touchdowns while featuring AJ Brown (13 targets, 9 catches, 175 yards, and 2 touchdowns).

Sam Howell churned out 290 passing yards and a touchdown on 41 attempts but was sacked 5 times, as well. Washington out-rushed Philadelphia 107 to 104.

The Eagles scored a 31-17 win over the Dolphins on Sunday Night Football in Week 7 while the Commanders fell to the Giants (14-7).

Saints at Colts Week 8 Odds

The Saints couldn't quite complete a comeback on Thursday night in Week 7 and dropped a second straight game to fall to 3-4 on the year in a highly competitive NFC South where every win could prove crucial for making the playoffs.

Running back Alvin Kamara led the team in Week 7 in both rushing (62) and receiving (91) yards as he continues to re-establish himself as the team's offensive cornerstone.

The Colts lost a wild game in Week 7 against the Browns by a score of 39-38.

In that matchup, Gardner Minshew cleared 300 passing yards, but the 3-4 Colts need a win to snap a losing streak.

The line has wavered in this matchup throughout the week.

Texans at Panthers Week 8 Odds

This matchup in Carolina pits the top two picks in the 2023 NFL Draft against one another. Both teams are also coming off of a bye.

The Texans are 3-3 with a nice +22 point differential. Rookie QB CJ Stroud is averaging 276.6 passing yards and 1.50 passing touchdowns per game.

The Panthers' rookie quarterback, Bryce Young, is averaging fewer than 200 yards per game (193.4) for the 0-6 Panthers.

Despite the winless start, Carolina's first pick in the 2024 NFL Draft is slated to be 33rd overall.

Rams at Cowboys Week 8 Odds

Dallas needs to come out of their Week 7 bye with some answers on offense. They're 4-2 with a +54 point differential but are just below the league average in yards per play (5.0) offensively.

A matchup with the Rams at home could keep Dallas well above .500 before an important Week 9 matchup with the Eagles in Philadelphia.

Los Angeles fell to 3-4 in Week 7 with a loss to the Steelers despite an 8-catch, 154-yard game by rookie WR Puka Nacua.

Falcons at Titans Week 8 Odds

In Week 7, the Falcons got another last-second win off the leg of Youngoe Koo on Sunday to improve their record to 4-3.

Quarterback Desmond Ridder fumbled three times in the 16-13 win, and RB Bijan Robinson recorded just one touch.

Tennessee rested up in Week 7 with a bye and need to climb their way up the AFC South in a hurry. They're 2-4 and have some winnable games on the docket but can't afford many more losses.

No team has fewer passing touchdowns (3) or passing touchdowns per game (0.5) than Tennessee through Week 7.

With Ryan Tannehill out for Week 8, the Titans will play both Will Levis and Malik Willis.

Jets at Giants Week 8 Odds

The Giants let up just 14 first downs and 273 yards to Washington in a Week 7 win to earn a second victory on the season. Tyrod Taylor played well in his second start with Daniel Jones out. Jones is listed as out again for Week 8.

The 3-3 Jets are coming off of a bye with a tough climb ahead of them in the AFC East as the Dolphins and Bills are above .500 to start the season.

They're favored in this battle for New York, which promises to be very low scoring.

Patriots at Dolphins Week 8 Odds

The Dolphins scored a 24-17 win over the Patriots back in Week 2 on the road, and they now sit as double-digit favorites while in Miami after a loss to Philadelphia in Week 7.

In that Week 2 matchup, Miami racked up 145 rushing yards with 121 of them coming from Raheem Mostert. Mostert scored twice on the ground. He is questionable for Week 8.

Tua Tagovailoa was also efficient: 249 yards on 30 attempts with Jaylen Waddle racking up 86 yards on just 4 catches. Tyreek Hill scored but had just 40 yards on his 9 targets. Hill was limited in practice on Friday -- same as Jaylen Waddle.

The Patriots did out-earn the Dolphins in first downs (23 to 22) but trailed by 101 offensive yards (389 to 288).

New England's odds to make the playoffs are very low (+1300 odds to make the playoffs), but they could play spoiler in the AFC East like they did to Buffalo in Week 7.

Vikings at Packers Week 8 Odds

Minnesota will have an unenviable turnaround. They upsset the 49ers on Monday Night Football in Week 7 and now head to Lambeau Field for an always-tough divisional matchup with the Packers.

Justin Jefferson remains out, but Jordan Addison has stepped up for Minnesota and scored twice on Monday night.

The Packers, though, just dropped a third consecutive game (19-17 to the Broncos).

After a six-touchdown, no-interception start through two weeks, Green Bay QB Jordan Love has four touchdowns and seven interceptions over his past four games.

Aaron Jones was limited in practice on Friday.

Browns at Seahawks Week 8 Odds

The Browns, like all AFC North teams, enter Week 8 with a two-game win streak.

This week, they'll have to win as underdogs in Seattle.

Cleveland's defense has carried them to a 4-2 record and a +19 point differential.

Seattle earned a divisional win over the Cardinals in Week 7 even without wide receiver DK Metcalf, thanks to a team effort.

Kenneth Walker ran for 105 yards, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Jake Bobo cleared 60 yards receiving with a touchdown apiece.

Cleveland's offensive injuries include QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder; out), RB Jerome Ford (ankle; questionable), and TE David Njoku (knee; limited in practice on Friday).

Bengals at 49ers Week 8 Odds

The Bengals' return to football after a Week 7 bye won't be an easy one. They face the San Francisco 49ers on the road.

San Francisco is 3-0 at home this season.

Cincinnati's 4.2 offensive yards per play rank them 32nd in the NFL, and Joe Burrow has had yo-yoing efficiency all season.

The 49ers lost to the Vikings in Week 7 on Monday Night Football but remain healthy home favorites in this matchup.

QB Brock Purdy (concussion) missed practice early in the week but was full by Friday. OT Trent Williams (ankle) is questionable.

Ravens at Cardinals Week 8 Odds

Baltimore came out firing in Week 7 and held a 35-0 lead over the Lions at one point during their 38-6 win last week.

Lamar Jackson's passing efficiency is trending up as his pass-catchers are healthier, and he is continuing to run the ball at an elevated rate, as well.

The Cardinals are letting opponents score on 46.5% of their possessions, the second-highest rate in football.

The 1-6 team can keep games close but is averaging 1.0 points per game in the fourth quarter (32nd) while letting up 9.6 (2nd).

Chiefs at Broncos Week 8 Odds

The Chiefs picked up a 19-8 win over the Broncos on Thursday Night Football in Week 6, so this is a second-time-around divisional matchup -- and a recent one.

In that game, Patrick Mahomes threw for 306 yards on 40 attempts with tight end Travis Kelce on the receiving end of 124 of those yards. Kelce caught all nine of his targets, as well.

Russell Wilson was held to under 100 passing yards after he mustered only 95 yards on 22 attempts.

The Chiefs are heavy road favorites for a reason.

Bears at Chargers Week 8 Odds

The Bears scored a 30-12 win over the Raiders in Week 7. Quarterback Tyler Bagent averaged only 5.6 yards per attempt despite a 72.4% completion rate.

His 29 attempts led to 162 passing yards, but he also ran 3 times for 24 yards with 2 of those carries going at least 10 yards.

In their matchup with the Chiefs in Week 7, the Chargers were stonewalled in the second half and stuck at 17 points.

They're now only 2-4 -- but have respectable +194 odds to make the playoffs despite that.

Raiders at Lions Week 8 Odds

A Week 7 loss derailed a two-game win streak for the Raiders. Quarterback Brian Hoyer completed 17 of 32 passes for 129 yards (4.0 per attempt) against a weak Bears defense.

The Lions nearly got blanked in Baltimore while QB Jared Goff averaged only 5.4 yards per attempt on 58 drop backs.

Rookie rusher Jahmyr Gibbs scored his first NFL touchdown, and Amon-Ra St. Brown cleared 100 yards again (102 yards and 13 catches), so a bounce back is probably in order for Detroit as big home favorites.
