Zach Wilson Height is Not What You Thought
Updated:
Zach Wilson is one of the hottest prospects heading into the 2021 NFL Draft. He's all but locked up as the No. 2 pick by the New York Jets after his impressive pro day. Wilson has even drawn comparisons to the 6-foot-3 Patrick Mahomes, both in playstyle and build.

However, Wilson official height isn't exactly what's been advertised.
Wilson measured 6-foot-2, 210 pounds at the NFL's medical combine earlier this month. That's only notable because he's listed as 6-foot-3 on both BYU's school website and ESPN.
Does it ultimately make any difference? Not likely.
Official heights, especially ones listed by teams, are always worth taking with a grain of salt due to some embellishments. And Wilson's slight height variation, as opposed to a drastic revelation, isn't going to change anything.
The BYU QB impressed with 3,692 yards and 33 TDs (with just 3 INTs) in 2020. He also showcased his dual-threat potential with 70 rushes for 254 yards and 10 additional scores.
The San Francisco 49ers may have moved up to No. 3 with a hope that Wilson would fall, but there's almost zero chance of that happening. He's set to become the new franchise QB for the Jets and first-year head coach Robert Saleh as they look to build a contender from the ground up.
