The best players in tennis are preparing to battle it out at this year's Wimbledon Championships. Aside from some snazzy hardware, the winners will also walk away with a serious payout.

There's plenty of money at stake for everyone competing, though, with even first-round exits netting some major cash. With that in mind, here's everything you need to know about the 2023 Wimbledon prize pool.

Wimbledon 2023 Prize Pool and Payouts by Round

The All England Club has raised the prize pool for the 2023 Wimbledon event. A record £44,700,000 (about $57 million) is up for grabs, an increase of 11.2% from the 2022 tournament. The winners of the men's and women's singles events will each earn £2,350,000, or just under $3 million. The runner-ups both net £1,175,000 (about $1.5 million) as well.
