2023 MLB All-Star Game Voting

Voting for the 2023 MLB All-Star Game opened up on Wednesday, May 31. Fans are given an opportunity to vote for the starting position players for both the AL All-Star team and NL All-Star team, while the remaining roster spots are decided through a combination of player choices and selections by the Commissioner’s Office.

2023 MLB All-Star Vote Leaders

Throughout the fan voting, the league will release several updates on the All-Star Game voting leaders. The first phase of voting takes place until 12 p.m. ET on June 22. After that, the top two vote-getters at each position (and top six outfielders) in each league will be revealed on an MLB Network broadcast later that day at 2 p.m. ET. The player with the most votes in each league will automatically be locked into the starting lineup.

The remaining top vote-getters will then enter a second phase of voting that lasts from June 26 to June 29 to determine the rest of the starting lineup. The 23 reserve spots (including pitchers) will then be decided between MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred, AL manager Dusty Baker, and NL manager Rob Thomson. Final rosters will be announced at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 2.
