Another summer brings with it another Home Run Derby. One player who's no stranger to this slugfest is Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who's set to return to the event once again this year.

The 2023 Home Run Derby will mark Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s second appearance in the marquee event. He debuted at the 2019 Home Run Derby, but hasn't competed since then.

In 2019, Guerrero dazzled the crowd by hitting a total of 91 home runs. He recorded 29 home runs in the first round before tallying a whopping 40 in a swing-off with Joc Pederson in Round 2. Unfortunately, the Blue Jays slugger came up short in the finals, losing 23-22 to Pete Alonso.

Only time will tell if Guerrero can have a similar performance in his Home Run Derby return.
