VIDEO: Stefon Diggs Makes Hilarious TD Celebration Bet With Pat McAfee

Updated:

The 2022 NFL season is days away from beginning and the Buffalo Bills are counting on Stefon Diggers to help win the first Super Bowl in franchise history. While Diggs is no stranger to putting on memorable offensive performances, he also has a talent that not many people know about: He can punt a football quite well.

Someone who can respect that art is none other than former NFL punter Pat McAfee. In fact, Diggs appeared on Friday's episode of "The Pat McAfee Show" and wound up making a hilarious touchdown bet with the host himself.

McAfee said that if Diggs scores a touchdown and punts the football into the upper level as a part of the celebration, he'll donate $25,000 to a charity of the wideout's choice. You can check out the hilarious moment in the video below.

When asked about his punting skills, Diggs said that he's "nice as s--t." If recent history is any indication, he'll have plenty of opportunities to show off those skills. Since joining the Bills in 2020, the 28-year-old has amassed 18 receiving touchdowns — eighth most in the NFL over that stretch.

The good news for Diggs is that FanDuel Sportsbook is also projecting him to find the endzone often this season. As of Sept. 2, his projected touchdown total sits at 8.5 with -112 odds on both the over and under.

Needless to say, Diggs should have plenty of opportunities this year to make good on the bet, forcing McAfee to make a hefty charitable donation.
