VIDEO: Remembering When Shonn Greene Ran Over a Referee To Secure a First Down Against the Dolphins

Updated:
Shonn Greene largely had a forgettable NFL career. The 2009 third-round pick played four years with the New York Jets, racking up 3,423 yards on 822 carries.
He was always a bruiser with the ball in his hands though, and that was on full display when he absolutely trucked a referee during a play against the Miami Dolphins.
Talk about an impressive run. Greene finds some open space and runs over the referee without even breaking stride. It's hard to tell if the ref hurt or helped this run, as Greene basically used him as a battering ram to take out a Dolphins defender.
Greene may not be an all-time great like some Jets running backs, but this ridiculous play is still a lot of fun to revisit.
