VIDEO: Remembering When Refrigerator Perry Leaps Over the O-Line for a TD in Super Bowl XX
Updated:
While he may not be a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, William "Refrigerator" Perry lives on in the memories of countless football fans today.
The 335-pound, 6-foot-3-inch defensive tackle is best known for what he did on the opposite side of the ball after the Chicago Bears brought him on goal line packages to ram through the teeth of opposing defenses.
Perhaps, his most memorable score of all-time came against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XX, when Perry hit the Pats' D-Line like a freight train fired out of a cannon.
The Bears would take an early commanding lead in that matchup and never look back, dismantling New England, 46-10, to win the Super Bowl by the time the final whistle blew.
