VIDEO: Remembering When DeAndre Hopkins Juked DeAngelo Hall So Hard That He Injured Himself
Updated:
There's nothing quite like watching a wide receiver break the ankles of his coverage defender when it comes to some of the greatest moments in football.
However, that takes on a whole new meaning when it borders on literal reality, just as it did five years ago in a spat between then-Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins and then-Washington Redskins defensive back DeAngelo Hall.
After chirping at one other for a little while about what seems to be proper football etiquette, Hopkins doesn't back down from the veteran Hall calling him out at all. Instead, Hopkins let his play do the talking about lining up against him and fooling him so hard with some incredible footwork that Hall collapses into himself at the feet.
While Hall required medical assistance from the fall, it's hard to say whether it was his shattered pride or physical pain that kept him down for as long as it did while Hopkins continued to talk trash from the sidelines about the move.
