VIDEO: Remembering When Clay Matthews' Forced Fumble Helped Seal the Packers' Super Bowl XLV Victory

Green Bay Packers fans may have been disappointed when they didn't make the Super Bowl after a 13-3 regular season last year, but it's not like there's been a long drought in Title Town.

We're still just a decade removed from the Packers' Super Bowl XLV victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, which was filled with some standout performances by star players. One of the biggest moments of the game was Clay Matthews' perfect forced fumble at the start of the fourth quarter.

Matthews was arguably the Packers' best player in 2010, earning first-team All-Pro honors while racking up 13.5 sacks and 60 tackles in the regular season. He only had three tackles (with no sacks) in the Super Bowl, but this play was absolutely crucial. He came off the edge and laid a perfect hit on Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall to force the fumble.

Aaron Rodgers and the offense took over from there, driving the field for a touchdown on the following drive, making it a 28-17 lead, which proved insurmountable.

It's going to be an uphill battle for the Pack to get back to the Super Bowl in 2020, but with Aaron Rodgers at the helm, fans in Green Bay always have reason to be optimistic.
