VIDEO: Randy Moss Reveals Why He Chose Football Over Basketball in Interview With Kevin Garnett

Randy Moss is known as one of the best wide receivers in NFL history. But coming from a small West Virginia town, not many people know he was also a standout in high school basketball and a former teammate of NBA point guard Jason Williams.

In fact, he was so good, he got invited to an elite Nike camp for high school basketball players that was a collection of the best players from around the country, including Kevin Garnett, Allen Iverson and Ron Mercer.

During this camp is where Moss met those all-time greats. Although, he remembers one specific moment with Kevin Garnett that ultimately made him decide to pursue football over basketball.

The craziest part of this is how vivid and defining of a memory this was for Moss, but Garnett barely remembers it happening at all. Regardless, it's pretty clear that Moss made the right choice, and apparently we have Kevin Garnett to directly thank for that.
