VIDEO: Remembering When Rodney Peete Starting Celebrating a Barry Sanders TD Before Crossing the Line of Scrimmage

Detroit Lions legendary running back Barry Sanders is widely considered to be both one of the greatest college football and NFL RBs in the history of the game, and he certainly earned the confidence of starting quarterback Rodney Peete that with this near-humiliating rushing touchdown.

It's not hard to see how Sanders never rushed for fewer than 1,115 yards in any of his 10 career NFL seasons with moves like this.

This is truly a testament to how great of a talent he was, for his quarterback to recognize a soon-to-be score before his RB has even crossed the line of scrimmage after juking an entire side of the defense seconds earlier.

Sanders was a monster in both college and the NFL, and almost any defender that got the chance to line up opposite of him will probably tell you the same.
