NASCAR Fantasy Picks for Verizon 200

Chase Elliott was awarded the win for last week's M&M's Fan Appreciation 400. Now racing fans will turn their attention to Indianapolis for this week's Verizon 200 on Sunday.

As the next Cup Series race rapidly approaches with a 2:30 p.m. ET start time on Sunday, July 31, let's take a look at some drivers to consider when building your fantasy lineup to win the Verzion 200 this week.

Indianapolis Fantasy Picks This Week

Chase Elliott
Chase Elliott is on fire. He's recorded a top-8 finish or better in every race since June 12, including two outright wins at Nashville and Atlanta. Elliott ended up third last weekend, but he ultimately got the victory after Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch were disqualified following post-race inspections as well. There's a reason he's the favorite in FanDuel Sportsbook's NASCAR odds this week, and he should keep on rolling in Indianapolis.

Kyle Busch
Speaking of Busch, he'll be kicking himself after losing a second-place finish at Pocono last week. Despite his infractions, he's still an attractive choice given his history at Indy. He owns the all-time best driver rating at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, per Motor Racing Network, with a 104.8 out of 150. Few can match Busch's recent success here, as he's racked up six top-10 finishes since 2012, including two wins. After improving his finishing place in every race during the month of July, look for him to end the month strong at a course he knows very well.

Kevin Harvick
The one other driver that rivals Busch's recent success at Indy is Kevin Harvick. He's won two of the last three races at Indy and owns the second-best all-time driver rating at 102.1. Prior to last season, Harvick was on a run of seven straight top-8 finishes here, and he never started lower than 11th during that stretch. At just +2800 odds (No. 15) to win this week's race, Harvick is a dark horse with a ton of potential value given his history at Indy.
