Vasyl Lomachenko is a boxing legend and a future Hall of Famer, but he comes into his next fight against Devin Haney as the clear underdog. Loma's best days are behind him while Haney is dominating the lightweight division, currently holding the WBA, IBF and WBO belts. The two are now finally getting ready for the fight fans have wanted for awhile.

The bout is set for Saturday, May 20. Coverage will begin around 10 p.m. ET on ESPN+ PPV and the main event ringwalks are expected to start around midnight. The fight will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

His most recent fight was on October 16, 2022, when he defeated George Kambosos in Melbourne, Australia by unanimous decision following a 12-round fight.

While Lomachenko might be the bigger name, It's clear the oddsmakers think Haney is the better fighter right now. He's undefeated and already has more experience as a pro under his belt than the older Lomachenko even though Haney is more than 10 years younger. Speaking of belts, Haney has three of them right now. He earned them in 2019 and hasn't let go of them since.

Haney holds -280 moneyline odds to win while Lomachencko is at +205 odds to win. A draw is at +1600, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest boxing odds.

A Haney win by points is seen as the most likely outcome by the oddsmakers at -175. That is followed by a Lomachenko win by points (+340), Lomachenko by KO/TKO (+750) and finally Haney by points (+900).

This is also shown in the odds for the fight going the distance, with yes at -480 and no at +330. Those odds suggest this will be a technical and calculated fight, rather than one filled with haymakers hoping to end someone's night early.
