Utah Softball World Series Schedule 2023 (Next Opponent, Game Times and Dates)

Updated:

The Utah Utes are officially in the women's College World Series after advancing past the regional and super regional rounds. Now Amy Hogue's team will look to continue their run all the way to a title.

Here's everything you need to know about Utah's schedule for the 2023 softball World Series.

What Seed is Utah in the 2023 Softball World Series?

Utah earned the No. 15 overall seed for the 2023 women's NCAA baseball tournament after going a respectable 42-14 during the season. The Pac-12 Tournament champions then won three straight games to advance past the regional round, and the Utes took down the San Diego State Aztecs in two of three contests during the super regionals to punch their ticket.

Who Does Utah Play Next in the Softball World Series?

The 15-seed Utah Utes will play the 7-seed Washington Huskies in their first game of the softball World Series. The winner of that contest then faces the winner of Florida State vs. Oklahoma State in the second stage of the World Series. The loser, meanwhile, heads to the losers' bracket and would be eliminated if they suffer a second loss at any point before the finals.

Utah's cleanest path to making the women's College World Series Finals is winning three straight games without any losses. That would guarantee the Utes a spot in the finals, which is a best-of-three series.
