USC coach Lincoln Riley is enjoying his time in Southern Cal so far. The undefeated Trojans now travel to altitude and take on a tough Utah team that was the preseason Pac 12 favorite. The Utes have not performed up to expectations, and Utah needs a win to stay in the Pac 12 race.

USC plays at a very slow offensive pace, although the Trojans offense is highly efficient with QB Caleb Williams passing for nearly 1,600 yards and a 14:1 TD-INT ratio. But USC struggled on the road at Oregon State the end of Sept. to pull out a late 17-14 win, and Williams completed less than 50% of his passes for 180 yards. Last week it was 370 yards offense for USC against Washington State and Williams was just 15-of-29 for 188 yards.

So the Trojans may be a bit overrated, and USC is +15 in turnover margin and leads the nation in sacks. Utah QB Rising is an efficient duel threat and the Utes will turn more to their running game and RB Tavion Thomas to control the ball, clock and chains. Utah will play with tremendous urgency at home where they have won 11 straight games.
