Tre Tucker Scouting Report

Tre Tucker was productive in his final year with the Bearcats. The Cincinnati product finished his senior year with new personal bests in receptions (52) and receiving yards (672), also scoring three touchdowns. He was also involved in the kick return team, however, he only saw nine returns — the fewest of his four-year tenure.

Tucker uses his speed to his advantage, highlighted by his 4.4-second 40-yard dash at the combine. He's incredibly elusive with the ball in his hands, taking his speed to the next level at the flick of a switch. He'll likely excel on quick throws and screen plays at the next level.

Nevertheless, Tucker's 5-foot-9, 182-pound frame limits where he can be used on the field. He'll be outsized in the majority of matchups he finds himself in, limiting what he can do on long balls. Eight touchdowns over four NCAA seasons also left a lot to be desired.

Tre Tucker NFL Draft Prediction

Tre Tucker's draft stock is all over the place. For starters, two sources don't see him getting drafted at all in the coming days. While the three other mock drafts list him as a probable Day 3 selection, two have him staying on the board until the seventh round. Either way, Tucker's future isn't clear.

Could Tucker go undrafted? Yes — it's a real possibility. However, I wouldn't be surprised if the Indianapolis Colts took a flyer on him. The Colts will want to surround their new franchise quarterback with as much talent as possible. While they already have Michael Pittman and Alec Pierce leading the pack, neither man has proven to be a No. 1 wideout.

While Tucker won't instantly be a 1,000-yard player, the upside to be a Tyreek Hill-type player is there. Isaiah McKenzie is also the only Colts WR under 6-foot-1, so there's room for another smaller threat like Tucker. At the end of the day, more weapons are better than too few.

Prediction: Indianapolis Colts (Round 7, 236th overall)
