Tszyu vs Ocampo Prediction & Best Bet
Tszyu is in this position and the favorite here for a reason, as he’s undefeated and has impressive wins on his resumé over former champs Tony Harrison and Joe Horn. While Tszyu has an awesome track record, Ocampo’s shouldn't be ignored either. He has more experience (despite being younger than Tszyu), going 35-2 in his career, and one of those losses came against Errol Spence Jr. -- one of the best pound-for-pound fighters on earth right now.
With almost no value in taking Tszyu on the moneyline and limited betting options here, we are going to go with the flyer on the Ocampo moneyline. On top of his edge in experience, he also holds the height and reach advantage over Tszyu.
Ocampo should also be more rested, which should help a guy that will probably lean toward trying to win this fight by decision. Tszyu has a slightly higher knockout rate (73% to 66%), so with Ocampo only fighting three times in over four years compared to Tszyu’s five fights in 2.5 years, expect him to try to use his stamina to his advantage.
Tszyu is the better fighter, but the oddsmakers are underestimating Ocampo.
Bet: Ocampo Moneyline (+550)
