Texas Tech has won 32 of its 59 all-time matchups against its upcoming Big 12 rival. Having said that, the rivalry has favored TCU in recent years, resulting in the Horned Frogs winning six of their last eight meetings with the Red Raiders.

It's hard imagining a world where Texas Tech turns its fortunes around this week. The Red Raiders might be 2-3 against ranked teams this season, but they needed overtime for both of those victories. Furthermore, the two teams they beat — Houston and Texas — aren't even ranked anymore.

On the other hand, three of TCU's four wins against ranked schools have been by at least seven points. The Horned Frogs are also 4-2 straight up against the Red Raiders in the six games where only the former is ranked, further pushing things in their favor.
