Updated:
Starting at 1:05 p.m. ET, we have 11 races at Saratoga on Saturday. Using numberFire’s projections as a guide, here are some of the best bets to make at FanDuel Racing.
As always, check the program for scratches and changes, and monitor the weather and track conditions.
(I will reference Equibase's Speed Figure in selected races, which tells you how fast a horse has been running in each of its races -- adjusted for track, distances, and conditions).
Saratoga Betting
1. Reinvestment Risk, Race 7

Race 7 is an Allowance race at 7 furlongs and numberFire projects the heavy favorite Reinvestment Risk (3/5) to win with Irad Ortiz, Jr. riding for trainer Chad Brown. Baby Yoda (9/2) on the outside No. 9 post and Answer In (12/) are ones to add to your exacta and trifecta bets.
Reinvestment Risk has finished runner-up in four Grade 1 races including in May to one of the nation's top runners, Jackie's Warrior.
2. In Italian and Technical Analysis, Race 8
FanDuel Racing Odds: 6/1 and 3/1

Race 8 is the Grade 1 Diana Stakes for older fillies and mares going 1 1/8 miles on the turf. The numberFire data projects Technical Analysis (3/1) to upset the favorite Bleecker Street (6/5) with Rougir (3/1) also hitting the board in the six horse field.
Leading EPO trainer Chad Brown trains all three, along with value pick In Italian (6/1), who has 3 wins in six starts and also finished in-the-money in his two recent graded stakes starts this year.
Technical Analysis has finished first or second in seven of her last eight starts with a win most recently in a Grade 3 running along the lead.
3. Andiamo a Firenze & Puttheblameonme, Race 10
FanDuel Racing Odds: 7/2 and 30/1

Race 10 is the Sanford Stakes for 2-year-olds sprinting 6 furlongs. The numberFire algorithm projects the favorite Forte (5/2) to win with Valenzan Day (6/1) and Andiamo a Firenze (7/2) to hit the board. Leading jockeys Irad Ortiz, Jr. and Jose Ortiz ride Forte and Andiamo a Firenze.
Forte won his debut in May by more than 7-lengths as a heavy favorite and now adds another furlong. Valenzan Day won his debut and then finished third in minor stakes with a slower 83 speed figure. Adiamo a Firenze won his debut wire-to-wire by 4-lengths with faster fractions while easing up near the finish.
Puttheblameonme (30/1) should be upgraded from his slower debut win with improvement coming off a bullet workout as well.
