NFL Punishes A.J. Brown for Unique TD Celebration Against Titans in Week 13

Updated:

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown erupted for an explosive performance against his former team, the Tennessee Titans, in Week 13. The Pro Bowler went off for 119 yards and 2 touchdowns in the revenge game, which resulted in a pair of end zone celebrations.

Unfortunately, the NFL wasn't a fan of at least one of those celebrations.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported Saturday that the league handed Brown a decent fine for one of the dances. They called the celebration "unsportsmanlike conduct" in which the wideout "spanked the goal post with his towel."

Making matters worse, a review of the play actually took Brown's TD off the board. He scored on the very next play, however.

Below is the original celebration. Decide for yourselves -- is this worth a $13,000 fine?
