NFL Insider Provides Update on Rams-Cam Akers Trade Rumors

The NFL trade deadline is just a few weeks away (Nov. 1), and the rumor mill is officially starting to heat up. The Los Angeles Rams and a potential falling out with Cam Akers has been a big source of early deadline rumors, especially after head coach Sean McVay's recent comments.

NFL insider Jeremy Fowler recently reported on all things NFL trade deadline, providing the latest on Akers' future in LA.

Fowler's sources indicated that "all options are on the table" in regards to Akers, but his future will come down to three simple choices: "trade, release or keep him on the roster." It's hard to imagine a roster spot is on the table, but Fowler believes some interest could be drawn because Akers' 2022 "tape is just OK."

It'll be interesting to see if other NFL teams are interested in a running back who was once widely viewed as a promising young talent, but his future is still in major jeopardy after that torn Achilles.
