Updated:

Starting at 12:00 p.m. ET, we have 14 races Saturday at Monmouth Park, including the $1 Million Haskell Stakes.

As always, check the program for scratches and changes, and monitor the weather and track conditions.

(I will reference Equibase's Speed Figure in selected races, which tells you how fast a horse has been running in each of its races -- adjusted for track, distances, and conditions).

Race 9 is the $200,000 Matchmaker (G3) for fillies and mares at 1 1/8 miles on the turf. Leading trainer Chad Brown has three runners in the race including numberFire's top picks Fluffy Socks (5/2) and Flighty Lady (7/2).

Fluffy Socks charged hard from off the pace to finish a close second behind the favorite in a Grade 3 race at this distance in May with her career-best speed figure of 109,

European imports Flighty Lady and Lemista (5/1), also trained by Brown, are the clear top choices of Horse Racing Nation's Super Screener, and Flighty Lady makes just her third start in nearly a year.

2. Adhamo and Gufo, Race 11

FanDuel Racing Odds: 3/1 and 3/1

Race 11 is the $600,000 United Nations (G1) at 1 3/8 miles on the turf. The top win contenders according to Horse Racing Nation's (HRN) Super Screener are Adhamo (3/1), Temple (6/1) and Gufo (3/1), and numberFire's data agrees with Adhamo and Gufo but projects Tribhuvan (5/2) as the close winner.

Gufo has missed the trifecta just once in 17 turf starts.

Tribhuvan will strike to the front for trainer Chad Brown, who also conditions Adhamo - the two European runners in the race. Those two finished 1-2 in last months Grade 1 Manhattan at Belmont.

3. Jack Christopher and Taiba, Race 12

FanDuel Racing Odds: 3/2 and 7/5

Race 12 is the $1 Million Haskell Stakes (G1) for 3-year-olds at 1 1/8 miles. The numberFire data projects the two favorites to decide the race with low payoff potential of Jack Christopher (3/2) over Taiba (7/5). An exacta with the two favorites will be a popular bet. White Abarrio (5/1) is also a contender projected to hit the board.

Jack Christopher is 4-for-4 with top speed in the race having hit triple digit speed figures three times including 108 in a 10-length romp in the Grade 1 Woody Stephens at Belmont last month. He tries two turns for the first time along with his first test beyond 1-mile, but is expected to pass the test again according to HRN and numberFire.
