The Mavericks head into tonight's contest following a disappointing 116-108 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the Heat were handed their third consecutive defeat in the form of a 101-92 loss to the New York Knicks.
Can the Mavericks get the job done in Miami? Or do the Heat have what it takes to stop their skid from worsening?

Mavericks vs Heat Prediction & Pick
The Heat's offense has completely stalled during its skid. They're averaging just 94.7 points on 43.9% shooting over the last three games, finishing with exactly 92 points in each of their last two outings. Now they must face the Mavericks, who already held them to 90 points in a loss back in January.
It doesn't help that the Heat could be missing key players as Kyle Lowry (knee) and Bam Adebayo (hip) are both questionable for tonight. The Mavericks' lineup is much healthier, especially with Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving leading the charge. Doncic is averaging 31.1 PTS/8.1 AST/8.0 REB in his last 14 games while Irving is tallying 27.1 PPG on .503/.400/.927 shooting splits in his last 10.
Even though I don't expect a high-scoring affair, it's clear that the Heat are too banged-up to keep pace with the Mavericks. It won't be pretty, but Dallas will get the job done in South Beach.
Final Score Prediction: Mavericks: 105 | Heat: 97
Mavericks vs Heat Best Bet
The Heat's offensive production has cratered while the Mavericks have been held to 109 or fewer points in four of their last six games, I'm not expecting many points tonight. It also helps that the under is 6-1 in Dallas' last seven games, as well as 5-0 in Miami's last five in April.
Additionally, 15 of the last 19 Mavericks-Heat matchups have finished with fewer than 225 points. With the state that both sides are in at the moment, it's clear that the under is the right pick.
Bet: Under 225 Points (-110)
