Updated:

Unfortunately, the news hasn't gotten much better for Trammell since the game. The 24-year-old has been diagnosed with a right hamstring strain and will undergo an MRI on Wednesday.

Taylor Trammell Injury Update

Much to Mariners fans' dismay, this isn't Trammell's first time dealing with this injury. He suffered a hamstring strain at the beginning of the 2022 Triple-A season, keeping him out of baseball action from April 8 until he made his Mariners season debut on May 22.

At the end of the day, Trammell will likely require another stint on the injured list. That's unfortunate because had improved over his uneventful 2021 campaign, recording three home runs, nine RBIs and 11 walks while batting .235 in 32 games (81 at-bats) with the Mariners this season.

All Seattle can do is hope for a speedy recovery for the Powder Springs, GA native. Nevertheless, it's likely going to be a while before Mariners fans see him on the field unless his MRI results reveal more positive news than expected.

Orioles vs Mariners Odds (June 29)
