Los Angeles Weather: Friday Forecast for 2023 U.S. Open Round 2 Includes Favorable Weather
Updated:
The U.S. Open is underway. After a busy Day 1 at Los Angeles Country Club on Thursday, the golfers are ready to get back at it for Round 2 on Friday.
While many are wondering who will make and miss the cut, viewers should keep an eye on the weather forecast for the second day of the tournament before placing any bets.
Los Angeles Country Club Weather
Like any sporting event that takes place outdoors, the U.S. Open is susceptible to the weather. That was certainly the case last month at Oak Hill, where heavy wind and rain affected the PGA Championship at times.
While Los Angeles is known for its high temperatures at times, that isn't much of a worry in June. The weather is usually comfortable in L.A. at this time of the year, lacking both humidity and rain.
U.S. Open Weather Friday Round 2
Luckily for the golfers and attendees in Los Angeles, the weather forecast for Day 2 of the tournament on Friday looks beautiful. According to AccuWeather, the forecast calls for a warm spring day with temps rising to 74 degrees. The day will feature low clouds as well as 7 mph winds and gusts up to 13 mph.
Friday's weather is similar to that of Thursday. The temperature was only projected to reach as high as 73 degrees with mostly cloudy skies. Winds were only projected to reach 7 mph as well for Thursday, meaning golfers likely won't need to make too many adjustments for Round 2.
