Latest Micah Parsons Injury Update is Great News for Cowboys

One of the big stories of the week for Dallas Cowboys fans has been the health of superstar defender Micah Parsons. A should injury limited Parsons in the final two practices of the week, which called into question his availability for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears.

Thankfully NFL insider Ian Rapoport revealed that Parsons is fully expected to suit up on Sunday.

It's not just the news that's great, but also the timing. The fact that Parsons was already expected to play overnight rather than being a game-time decisions suggest he's not having too much trouble with the shoulder.

Every game is crucial for the Cowboys at this point as they try to keep up in the incredibly competitive NFC East.

The first-placed Philadelphia Eagles are 10.5-point favorites (per FanDuel Sportsbook NFL odds) and expected to remain undefeated this week, but the New York Giants are 3-point underdogs and could fall to 6-2. Also 10-point favorites, that would let the Cowboys move into a tie for second in the division.
