Justin Jefferson Breaks Randy Moss's NFL Record With Monster Week 10 Performance

Justin Jefferson made more than just the catch of the year on Sunday — he made NFL history.

The Minnesota Vikings wideout turned in another superstar performance against the Buffalo Bills in Week 10, leading Minnesota to a wild 33-30 victory and etching his name into the record books in the process.

When the dust settled on Sunday, Jefferson had racked up a season-high 193 receiving yards. It was his 20th career game with at least 100 receiving yards, setting an NFL record for the most such games in a player's first three seasons.

The 23-year-old broke the mark previously held by Odell Beckham Jr. and Randy Moss, the latter of whom also set the record while playing for the Vikings. Moss accomplished it from 1998-2000 with Minnesota, laying the groundwork for his Hall of Fame career.

What makes Jefferson's mark even more impressive is that he still has eight more games to add to his record before the regular season ends. Given that he's already topped the century mark in six of nine games this year (including five of his last six), he's a good bet to tally a few more 100-yard games before the playoffs start.

Jefferson's next opportunity will come at home against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 11. The Cowboys have one of the best defenses in the NFL and Jefferson has managed just 107 yards in two career games against them so far. He'll try to help the Vikings improve to 9-1 despite Minnesota being 2-point underdogs on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
