Jazz vs Warriors Game Info

2022-23 NBA Regular Season Game
Utah Jazz (12-8, 6-6 Away) vs. Golden State Warriors (9-10, 8-1 Home)
Date: Friday, Nov. 25, 2022
Time: 10 p.m. ET
Venue: Chase Center — San Francisco, CA
Coverage: NBA League Pass

The 2022-23 NBA season has 14 games planned for Black Friday 2022, including a clash between the Utah Jazz and San Antonio Spurs. Although the Jazz shocked a lot of people early in the season, they've looked far more human lately, losing their second of back-to-back games following a 125-116 loss to the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday.

As the Jazz struggle, the Warriors have begun heating up. Golden State's 124-107 win over the LA Clippers two nights ago marked the former's third victory in the last four outings. The Warriors are one of the best home teams in the league, so look for them to do what they can to remain hot.

Can the Jazz get back to their winning ways before their slide continues? Or will the Warriors continue being an unbeatable force at Chase Center?

The Warriors enter this contest as slight road favorites on the moneyline and spread per FanDuel Sportsbook's odds. This 10 p.m. ET clash also features an over/under of 239.5 points, which is the highest of Friday's projected totals.

Jazz vs Warriors Prediction & Pick

It's not a coincidence that each of the Jazz's last two losses came in starting point guard Mike Conley's absence. Utah tends to perform worse when the veteran playmaker is out of the lineup, losing 10 of the last 16 games that he's missed.

Conley is also one of the Jazz's better backcourt defenders. With him sidelined, they must find a way to contain an explosive Warriors perimeter attack that includes Stephen Curry, Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson. Don't be surprised if the sharpshooting trio finds success against a Utah defense that led the lowly Pistons to shoot 12-of-24 from three-point range.

Furthermore, the Warriors are too solid at home for the Jazz to beat. The former has only lost one of 10 games at Chase Center this season, winning seven straight in the Bay Area. Considering how the Jazz have also lost four straight road games to the Dubs, I'm backing the Warriors winning decisively.

Final Score Prediction: Warriors: 127 | Jazz: 114

Points won't be at a premium tonight. The Jazz have had no issues scoring on the road (114.2 PPG, No. 8) while the Warriors own the fifth-best offense at home (120.9 PPG). With the total also having gone over in eight of the last 11 Utah-Golden State meetings, expect both sides to try and outgun the other.
