Monday, March 27's NBA schedule features the Phoenix Suns (39-35) taking to the road to face the Utah Jazz (35-39) at Vivint Arena.
The Suns return to the road following a huge 125-105 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers as Devin Booker finished with a team-high 29 points. Meanwhile, the Jazz's losing streak was extended to three consecutive games with a 121-113 loss to the Sacramento Kings over the weekend.
Can the Suns pick up their 40th win of the season? Or will the Jazz end their losing ways at home?

- As a 6.5-point underdog or greater, the Jazz had one win ATS (1-1) last season.

- There were 38 Jazz games (out of 82) that went over the total last season.
Jazz vs. Suns Prediction & Pick
It's hard to like much of what the Jazz have been doing lately. Not only have they lost three games in a row, but they allowed 130.7 PPG points with a minus-16.0 average scoring margin over that stretch. Now, the Jazz must face the Suns, who just dropped 125 points on the NBA's No. 3 scoring defense.
It doesn't help that Jazz will be quite shorthanded tonight. Collin Sexton (hamstring), Rudy Gay (back), and Jordan Clarkson (finger) have all been ruled out while Lauri Markknanen (hand) is questionable. Although the Suns will be without Kevin Durant (ankle), they still have Devin Booker and Chris Paul while Deandre Ayton (hip) is probable to make a return following a four-game absence.
The Suns are the clear-cut better team and will prove that against the Jazz's banged-up lineup.
Final Score Prediction: Suns: 123 | Jazz: 114
Jazz vs. Suns Best Bet
With the Jazz's defense playing horribly, I'm inclined to back the over as the best bet tonight. A lack of defense has led to the over hitting in seven of their last eight games, as well as in four of their last five at Vivint Arena. On the flip side, the over is 5-0 in the Suns' last five games and 9-0 in their last nine Western Conference tilts.
Considering how the Jazz and Suns averaged 246 points in their two previous meetings this season, I expect to see a decent amount of offense.
Bet: Over 234 Points (-110)
