The Indiana guard showcased incredible improvement in one year under the leadership of head coach Mike Woodson, becoming a dynamic threat on both ends of the court. He regularly converted tough layups and played menacing defense.

Hood-Schifino relied on his aggressiveness to average 13.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists on a Hoosiers offense that featured numerous scoring options. He even flashed his ceiling with a 35-point, seven-rebound performance against Purdue on the road back in February. While his defensive skills should translate well to the next level, he will need to work on expanding his offensive skillset to keep up in a constantly changing league.

Overall, Hood-Schifino has the makings of a player that can be subbed in to guard opposing ball-handlers when the game is on the line. Any offensive skills he can add to his mid-range shot would be an added bonus.
