How to Watch MLS Soccer Games in 2023 (Are Any MLS Games Not on Apple TV?)
Updated:
The popularity of soccer is on the rise in the United States, which has naturally come with a spike in interest in Major League Soccer. MLS matches provide plenty of excitement, glimpses of USMNT's next great players, and even some big-name star power.
With that in mind, here's how fans can catch all the Major League Soccer action during the 2023 season.
How to Watch Major League Soccer Games in 2023 & MLS Season Pass Cost on Apple TV
In July 2022, MLS announced a historic deal with Apple to have all of its matches broadcast on Apple TV for the next 10 years. Apple has since created MLS Season Pass, which is an exclusive streaming service on Apple TV that gives fans access to every Major League Soccer game, the MLS playoffs, and other selected matchups from MLS partner leagues. This add-on also features no local blackouts, bucking the trend of other sports streaming services.
Apple offers a few different pricing options for MLS Season Pass. Fans can sign up and pay monthly at a rate of $14.99 if you're not already subscribed to Apple TV+, or $12.99 if you do pay for Apple TV+ already. A yearly subscription costs $99 at the start of the season if you don't have Apple TV+, or $79 if you do have Apple TV+.
On June 1, 2023, Apple unveiled a midseason sale on MLS Season Pass, knocking down the annual subscription from $99 to $49 for non-Apple TV+ subscribers, and down to $39 (compared to $79) for Apple TV+ subscribers. This is a great deal for any fans hoping to catch the second half of the 2023 campaign, as the pass also includes every MLS Playoffs match.
