Heat vs Clippers Game Info

2022 NBA Summer League Game
Miami Heat (1-3) vs. Los Angeles Clippers (2-2)
Date: Saturday, July 16, 2022
Time: 11:00 p.m. ET
Venue: Cox Pavilion — Las Vegas, NV
Coverage: ESPN3

The Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers meet head-to-head in Summer League action on Saturday night. Miami is coming off a disappointing loss to the Toronto Raptors that finished with a score of 88-78. Center Orlando Robinson showed some promise with a double-double (13 points, 11 rebounds).

Meanwhile, the Clippers took care of business against the Utah Jazz on Friday night, winning by a score of 82-65. Jay Scrubb and Brandon Boston Jr. combined for 36 points on 13-for-25 shooting. The highlight was on defense, though, as the Clippers forced 22 turnovers and tallied 13 steals.

Heat vs Clippers Odds & Spread

All NBA betting lines, odds and prop bets are available on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Moneyline: MIA: (+110) | LAC: (-134)
Spread: MIA: +2.5 (-118) | LAC: -2.5 (-104)
Total: 167.5 — Over: (-110) | Under: (-110)

The Clippers enter this contest as a small favorite on the moneyline and spread. This 11 p.m. ET clash also features the third-lowest total of Saturday's nine-game slate.

Heat vs Clippers Prediction & Pick

Miami's 2022 first-round pick Nikola Jovic did not suit up on Friday night and it's safe to say he'll be on the sidelines Saturday night as well. That leaves the offense to be run by Kyle Allman Jr., who was the only Miami player to shoot better than 50% from the floor the last time out. The depth just isn't there.

The Clippers come at their opponent from every angle, racking up steals and blocks left and right. In fact, LA has yet to allow their opponent to score more than 83 points in any Summer League contest. As long as Scrubb and Boston keep playing the way they have been, the Clippers should win this one.

I'll back a tough Clippers team to cover the -2.5 spread (-104).
