Have the Hawks Ever Won an NBA Championship?
Updated:
After a hard-fought series against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Atlanta Hawks are back in the Eastern Conference Finals.
After a short rebuild over the last three seasons, the Hawks return to the postseason for the first time since the 2016-17 season, which was the final year in a stretch of 10 straight playoff appearances.
Atlanta Hawks Championship History
The Atlanta Hawks franchise has won one NBA Championship. That win came in the 1957-58 season, when the team played in St. Louis and was led by Bob Pettit.
Since that time, they have made only two more championship appearances. They were still playing in St. Louis for both of those, in the 1959-60 and 1960-61 seasons.
This will be only their second Eastern Conference Finals appearance since moving to Atlanta, with the other coming in the 2014-15 season.
FanDuel Sportsbook's NBA Championship odds has the Hawks ranked fourth in the the odds to win the championship.
