Google Super Bowl 2023 Commercial Highlights Photo Editing Tools With Multiple Celebrity Cameos
Updated:
Another Super Bowl is upon us, which means plenty of star-studded commercials are on the way. Google is back with an ad in the big game that highlights the Pixel's photo editing tools with celebrity cameos from NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo, comedian Amy Schumer and rapper Doja Cat.
Check out Google's 2023 Super Bowl commercial below:
Google Super Bowl Commercial 2023
The commercial starts on a sentimental note as family photos pop up on the screen. However, each one has a glaring issue in the background like an unwanted stranger or in Amy Shumer's case, an ex. Google showed how the magic eraser tool can get rid of unwanted things in the background of pics.
The ad goes from Schumer to Antetokounmpo as Giannis is shown erasing himself from the wrong end of a posterizing dunk. When asked about the dunk by a reporter, he simply says "What dunk?" It continues explaining different ways to edit the pics and even shows a cat deleting dogs from a selfie.
The focus then shifts to the Pixel's unblur function as Doja Cat poses with fans in what ends up being a blurry picture. One simple tap and the photo is instantly clear. It's a function that can be done no matter how old the picture may be. Of course, the ad ends with Google's new hastag, #FixedonPixel.

This wasn't the first time Giannis starred in a Google commercial. He acted alongside movie star Simu Liu in an ad that also touched on the Pixel's magic eraser feature. It hasn't distracted the Milwaukee Buck from his play, though, considering he is set to play in the NBA All-Star game next weekend.
