Georgia Bowl Game History
Georgia has frequented the college football postseason throughout its history. The Bulldogs have played in 60 bowls all-time.
The Bulldogs made their first bowl appearance in 1942 as part of the Southeastern Conference. They defeated TCU 40-26 at the Orange Bowl that year.
Georgia has also won each of its last five bowl appearances. Most recently, the Bulldogs notched a 42-41 win over Ohio State in the 2022 Peach Bowl.
