FanDuel Fantasy Golf Picks for the PGA Championship 2023 at Oak Hill Country Club
Updated:
We have finally arrived at the second major on the golf calendar. The PGA Championship tees off this Thursday at Oak Hill Country Club near Rochester, NY. With the best golfers in the world looking to add a trophy to their case, we should be prepared for an incredible week of golf.
Let's take a look at three golfers to consider when putting together your fantasy team this week.
PGA Championship 2023 Fantasy Picks
Jon Rahm Fantasy
Jon Rahm has been incredible this year as well as in majors over the past few years. Since the start of 2020 (11 starts), Rahm has five top-10 finishes, plus two more top-15 finishes. He is coming off a Masters victory, but that didn't slow him down. He placed second in his most recent start at the Mexico Open at Vidanta.
Overall this season, Rahm has four wins already and 8 top-10 finishes in just 12 official events played, with three of those wins against very elite fields at The Masters, The Genesis Invitational and the Sentry Tournament of Champions. Rahm rises to the occasion when going up against the best competition.
From a statistics standpoint, Rahm ranks No. 1 on Tour this season in Stokes Gained (SG): Total, Birdie Average, and Scoring Average. He's also top-10 in SG; Approach to Green (3rd) and SG: Putting (7th). He is firing on all cylinders this season and there's little reason to believe he'll cool off this week.
Brooks Koepka Fantasy
We learned at Augusta that the old Brooks Koepka is back. After battling injuries and the distraction that heading to LIV brought upon him, Koepka led for much of the tournament before ultimately falling short to Rahm on the final day.
Koepka is a two-time winner of the PGA Championship, and now that he's healthy again, we should expect to see him near the top of the leaderboard in every major, especially a major he's won twice before.

Justin Rose Fantasy
Justin Rose is available at a really great price this week. He has now made four straight cuts coming into this event, but things get even more encouraging when you look at his last three PGA Championships. He has placed T13, T8 and ninth in his last three starts at this event.
Rose ranks really well in a few places that are valuable to this course. First is Proximity to Hole, where he ranks No. 8 on Tour this season. His ball striking has always been a stellar part of his game, and that will be paramount at Oak Hill with its tough greens. He ranks No. 17 in Driving Accuracy and No. 1 in Putts Per Round, making him a great sleeper pick this week.
